My writing interests/energies have changed a lot over the last year or so, and especially in the last 6 months. Still, I kinda feel like writing some drabbles or short DWP fics tonight. Anybody care to provide me with some prompts?

Short, non-committal prompts only, please. (Good: "Miranda overreacts" or "diamonds, gowns, and popsicles." Bad: "Miranda and Andy are in China because they're adopting a six-week-old baby. Andy falls ill while there and finds out she has Stage 3 cancer. Write a multi-part saga about the couple's decision to hide the illness from the adoption agency in order to continue growing their family. Angst, smut, and baby-fluff with a happy ending, please!")

I make no promises about the results . . . or even if there will be results. But I'd very much appreciate your throwing some prompts my way, if anybody's out there. Thanks! :)

Nice to hear from you!

Promptwise: champagne and flattery, or if that doesn't appeal getting a stain out of an important top / dress while at work (I'm thinking one of those really awkward stains - coffee, or balsamic vinegar, or pomegranate juice, or red wine)

3. Reality TV

4. Miranda has a secret passion for crosswords/sudoku/word puzzles

5. Eyebrow shaping

I don't have any prompt to offer (and I think it's too late anyway if you wanted it for last night) but I wanted to say I'm very happy to read that you plan to write more DWP - short or long, and that the Bad!Prompt example was priceless.

xx♥

You're so thoughtful. Thanks so much, and it's great to hear from you. I think--as I'm about to say in my update on this entry--that I'm going to write off and on as I feel like it for the next few weeks, and post when I think I've got enough of the prompts filled.

*smirks at bad prompt example*

Prompt: Miranda's driving; Andy's in the car. They get pulled over. M's car is a Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet. It's got a bolt start of 0 to 100mph in around ten seconds; top speed 177mph. In other words, speed just... happens, in that car. Miranda can't possibly be blamed for its superb design, can she?

No matter which prompt you choose, enjoy your writing!

Thanks, Nici! This is great. Even if I don't end up writing this one, I loved the prompt . . . and who knows?! Maybe I've got some car-fic in me yet.
