Oh, that just felt so great! I loved every second of it. Don't know why but there's a real feeling of comfort when reading your work; maybe because you make the relationship between Miranda and Andy such a comfort for each of them. That sensation Miranda has of immediately wanting that comfort is so sharp and sweet, and the fact that she gets her reward in the end is just dandy.
Also, placing Andy in the midst of a traumatic layoff just adds more layers of depth too; she smiles at the end. No frowns for Miranda.
