As always, a treat. There is so much to love in this: the way Miranda just wants to be touched as she falls asleep, her closeted-ness, and the way she cries in bed--which is such a fantastic scene, my favorite in the fic. It's hard to imagine Miranda crying, and even harder to write it convincingly (I think), but you pulled it off in such a way that I ached for her. Again and again, you manage the trick of keeping your characters together with each other, even when, on the surface, they're not.
And there's plenty more, of course. Andy and Lily getting back in touch is always a pleasure to read. I like that you ended the story just as the "real," public relationship is about to begin. I like that Miranda anticipates everything that could conceivably happen, at least, as long as it's bad. I like that your beta was so helpful, because this story was totally most errorless. And I like that they get tested for disease (which is a minor plot point in a fic I'm posting shortly, actually), and that Miranda has her period (that messy little detail rarely shows up), and that they're not suddenly crawling all over each other every single night because their schedules don't realistically allow for that.
In short: I like it. A lot. I never expected anything else, of course!
