note to my friend list: reposting fic
Feb. 3rd, 2009 10:55 pmAll the re-organization at the DWP community has been exciting, but it made me realize that I should probably have my posts saved at my own journal as well as at the community. So, I'm going to be reposting all my fic here. I'm also improving my tags so that my LJ will be more searchable as it hopefully grows. If you see a lot of fic cropping up on my journal, it's all stuff that I've posted at the community. Nothing new yet, sorry! And I apologize for clogging up your own friend lists with stories you've most likely read already.
I also have a somewhat technical question. I think it was on one of the mod posts that Telanu recommended using LJ Archive. I haven't tried using it yet, but I also don't have a whole lot to archive and can probably just do it manually. I was wondering, however, if anyone knows of a way to archive notes and comments received on an LJ community post. I'd really like to keep the comments I've received, but copying and pasting them into a document would probably look really, really ugly. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! (I'm not planning on deleting my community posts--I'd just like to have a way of backing them up, comments and all. You can call it vanity if you must.)
I'm okay with computers, but I used to know all sorts of html and had my own website when I was pretty young. I'm only in my twenties but I feel like I'm watching technology pass me by.
